About the Role:

This is a key Product Management role for our Hosted Exchange and Microsoft 365 portfolio of products including add-ons like Email Archiving and Outlook Backup.  You will have responsibility for managing minor product feature enhancements to support our Product Vision, driving upgrades to maintain our competitive position, and identifying product changes that can reduce costs or improve operational efficiency.  You will be focused on the more tactical aspects of Product Management required for the success of a mature, but growing portfolio of products. You will be the subject matter expert to assist sales for large or non-standard opportunities and a creative problem solver working with cross functional teams to resolve product related issues. Your ability to learn quickly, solve problems, multi-task and work exceptionally well with diverse co-workers across all functional areas will ensure your success in this role.   

What you will be doing:

  • Work closely with Director of Product Management to deliver feature enhancements, vendor product integration, or other projects assigned to support the Product Vision
  • Work closely with Support and Operations to identity and prioritize bug fixes and enhancement requests
  • Review and respond to customer feature requests
  • Prioritize and add to roadmap as appropriate
  • Create product vision and user stories for assigned projects, products and enhancements
  • Understand, define and schedule upgrades to products required by vendor upgrades, API changes, Microsoft 365 product changes/additions, or features enhancements
  • Work closely with project and development teams to deliver these projects on time and with great quality
  • Be the go-to person that people come to for detailed information about products and projects under your responsibility
  • Provide support for the sales teams on products under your responsibility to help win deals
  • Work with the marketing and training teams to ensure the support, onboarding, sales and other teams are trained
  • Be a team player with a consistently great attitude who is easy to work with and is a key resource for the company

What you will bring to the role:

  • 2+ years of relevant Product Management experience and/or strong desire to move to Product Management PLUS 3 to 5 years of experience in Project Management, Sales Engineering, Technical Support or related roles delivering Microsoft Office 365, Email or Email Security related products to business customers
  • 4-year college degree required
  • Ability to thrive while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment with multiple high priority projects
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge on email or Microsoft 365 related services and a strong technical aptitude
  • Willingness to prioritize, define, and take ownership of projects and drive them to completion in partnership with the development and project management teams
  • Ability to work effectively with people from a cross function of groups within the company and be able to coordinate across various groups and functional teams
  • Requires an action oriented individual with a strong initiative to be successful
  • Ability to complete job responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • Have a competitive mindset to ensure projects developed allow Intermedia’s solutions to be successful in the market
